The grass on this field was replaced almost a decade and a half ago. A man came with a lawnmower and cut all the artificial turf. Since then, they haven't taken care of the field at all. The net is full of holes, and every time you miss the goal, it goes out of the field and you have to go for it. The grass is full of holes and there's literally no grass left; it's all hard, scratchy plastic, green. Even though it's the only public field in Calpe, it's always full of people and training sessions. But still, if it weren't for Benítez, we wouldn't be able to play football on grass. So we still love him.
El césped de este campo se sustituyó hace casi una década y media. Y un hombre vino con un cortacésped y cortó todo el césped artificial. Desde entonces, no han cuidado para nada el campo. La red está llena de agujeros y que cada vez que fallas la portería, se sale del campo y tienes que ir a por ella. El césped está lleno de agujeros y literalmente no queda nada de hierba, es todo plástico duro que raspa de color verde. Aunque es el único campo público que tiene Calpe, entonces siempre está lleno de gente y entrenamientos. Pero igualmente, si no fuera por el Benítez, no podríamos jugar a fútbol en césped. Así que igualmente le queremos.
