The parking lot has a double 100kWh charging station (which delivers 50kW when both are occupied). There is also a double 22kWh charging station. The 100kWh spaces are located at the parking lot exit, making it easy to find and park. I would have given the stations themselves 4 stars, if not for what follows… The 22kWh spaces located next to them are extremely narrow and poorly marked! When we arrived, half of the stations (1100kWh and 122kWh) were occupied by internal combustion vehicles 😡… yet there was space elsewhere for those who were looking. The parking lot is very, very narrow and overcrowded. People don't respect the spaces for electric charging, and no one is enforcing this (better identification and an exclusivity sign would be greatly appreciated). After a 15-minute wait in 95-degree heat and the two people leaving in the gas-powered car, we were finally able to move the car and charge it. The charging itself went very well, limited to 50 kWh due to the presence of another car. It's a shame because there are very few charging stations in Calpe, so the only more or less valid ones are in paid parking lots, which are overcrowded and cramped, and where respect for other drivers doesn't seem to be an issue... Calpe absolutely needs to equip itself with fast charging stations that are accessible and respected!

Unfortunately, there are only two charging stations available, and there's a good chance they'll be occupied. You might be able to park your car elsewhere temporarily while shopping. Charging is fairly easy with a charging card or CC. Unfortunately, there's no English language support, which made it a bit of a puzzle for me, as I'm not Spanish-speaking. There's a maximum free parking time of 75 minutes, so if charging isn't available, you can't maximize your time. And with few alternatives, fast charging in Calpe is difficult.
Easy to connect, very fast charging. The downside is 0.59 kW and there are only two fast charging points. But at least you have somewhere to charge.
