For the RECYCLING of DESALINATION REJECTS THE GREEN USE OF DESALINATION BRINE FOR COMPETING CLIMATE CHANGES AND PRODUCING USEFUL PRODUCTS AS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COASTAL AREA We do have a program ; design , methods and procedures which cope with the Sustainable Developments and strangle the Climate Changes in the coastal area respecting the ecosystem health saving costs and gaining social , economic and industrial benefits. The Integrated Farm improved the technical and economic feasibility of various, possibly lucrative uses of the brine effluent. Firstly , Salt production for industrial uses is assured in our design and Hyper saline water has to be separated . The first use of the hyper-saline water that is studied and tested is the production of Protein ,Carotene and Glycerol using microalgae . The irrigation of salt-tolerant and halophyte (salt-needing) crops is the second step . The third possibility that was tested is adding an aquaculture component that is based on using the saline effluent of the farm for Halophytes irrigation . It is possible to incorporate Fish ponds , using its discharges for enriching Halophyte cultivation . When the integrated farm technology proves to be successful and economically feasible under Egyptian conditions, the wider application can contribute to a more efficient use of the country’s desalination plants or anywhere . In addition, this farm technology may result in lower production cost if the economic gain from reduced feed costs weighs up against the increased cost of other components. Prof. Dr Said Farghaly
