Pista Azul, managed by Calp Esports under the town’s sports department, is the active heart of Calpe’s sporting scene. This facility hosts major annual events, including the Hero Costa Blanca MTB marathon (21 February 2026) with 82 km and 50 km routes, the XIII Cursa Popular de Calp 10 km race (22 February 2026, registrations close 20 February at 12:00), and the II Vuelta Ciclista Costa Blanca (6-8 March 2026), featuring a 58.6 km cadet-stage urban circuit around Las Salinas with the Peñón de Ifach as a backdrop.
