Excursiones Marítimas Calpe

Horrible!! Not only because the excursion is too expensive for what it is. They don't take into account the living creatures in the sea. I saw them dismember at least five jellyfish with their propellers. They shouldn't let these types of boats sail in the twenty-first century. I don't recommend it at all. I give it a one, because you can't give it a zero.

My experience with this excursion was, honestly, a huge disappointment. The trip is advertised as a boat trip from Calpe to Moraira with the opportunity to admire the seabed through a glass floor and experience something unique. However, the reality is far from what they promise. The trip is limited to a simple round-trip boat ride, practically the same as taking a bus but by sea. The price (€26 per person) is completely disproportionate to what they actually offer: a half-hour transfer to Moraira, a three-hour wait there, and then a return trip to Calpe. Furthermore, one of the boat's main attractions, the glass floor for observing the fish and the seabed, was closed and no one was allowed to enter at any time, which further increases the feeling of being deceived. The crew was friendly and polite; I have nothing against the staff, but the experience itself seemed to me to be one of the most unrecommendable excursions I've ever taken. In the end, it feels like a "rip-off excursion," since you pay an excursion price for what is simply sea transportation. In short: I don't recommend it at all. If you're looking to go to Moraira, it's much more worthwhile to do so by car or bus and spend time there. Given what they offer and the price they charge, I think it's a complete nonsense.

The boat was good and not crowded, so we were able to enjoy the boat ride. We thought the boat went quite fast; in fact, a couple of people got seasick. The staff was very friendly and attentive, asking several times if we were okay, since we were boarding with our dog. The underwater view isn't available all the time; you have to go down some spiral stairs when they say so, and they give you a 10-minute break. We didn't see much, just jellyfish and small fish. We were surprised by the photo when we got off the boat, since we didn't expect it to be on a plate.

Well, it's a great experience if you've never been on a boat before, as you see it from a different perspective, and the view under the sea is very cool.

If you're looking for a leisurely ride, I don't recommend it. It goes very fast and can be overwhelming and make you dizzy. The staff was very friendly throughout; I'm very grateful to them.
