The Camino ecológico in Calpe traces 3.5 km of Benissa’s dramatic coastline, winding past rugged cliffs, secluded coves, and Mediterranean flora like jarilla de cabeza de gato and posidonia oceanica meadows. This low-difficulty, year-round trail features informative panels on local geology, history, and wildlife, with routes connecting highlights such as Playa de la Fustera—a sandy cove with a year-round chiringuito, children’s play area, and snorkelling-friendly waters—and the wild Cala Advocat, accessible via marked paths. Along the way, you’ll pass old quarries, shaded picnic areas with public toilets, and a parque biosaludable with exercise equipment and sea views.
