Never again. In 2024, I'll be getting two new pairs of glasses, costing €458 in total, which is quite something. When I was using them, I noticed something wasn't right. I went back to the store, where they told me it was normal (I'm used to multi-functional glasses). Unfortunately, it wasn't as it should be. Now back in Belgium, I had my glasses checked by the ophthalmologist, and it turned out the lenses weren't made according to the ophthalmologist's prescription. So, I had to get new glasses made, and €458 was in the trash. Forewarned is worth two, and I'll NEVER buy Specsavers again.

Lost my glasses on holiday. Went to this shop and the staff were fantastic. Optician was very knowledgeable and the fact that I got my glasses the day after i ordered them was amazing. No issues recommending these people and the choice of glasses much better than in the UK. Wish they were my full time opticians.

I came to leave a review with my usual profile, and it turns out I gave them a 5-star review two years ago! Well, here's another one! The service is amazing! Nuno not only gives you a great checkup, but he also explains what he's doing and is very friendly. The women are the same. I don't remember the name of the one who explained the glasses to me, but like Nuno, she took a lot of time and gave a thorough explanation. We need more people like this! They truly deserve a lot more benefits! Over 400 reviews, all 5 stars, is no coincidence.

I needed an urgent eye appointment as my glasses had broken so the staff were kind enough to fit me in on Saturday last week. I was replacing the broken glasses, and being tested for new contact lenses (which I'd never had before). All the way through the whole process the staff were attentive, patient, professional and friendly. It took me a while to learn to put the lenses in (which they wouldn't normally teach on a Saturday, but did for me because I had no way of seeing without!) but I never felt like a nuisance. Exemplary service, I would completely recommend. EDIT October 2025 When my husband had a worrying eye symptom, we were able to get a speedy appointment (and actually went in earlier than the time!) Our optician was, as usual, professional, friendly and thorough, and gave us a referral letter for the GP within 24 hours. Even though the name above the door has changed, the excellent service hasn't! Thank you again!

I'm a long-time customer of a former Specsaver The service is great, my eyes are checked and the prescription is top-notch And unfortunately, I have to say the deal is a rip-off I couldn't find a suitable pair of glasses and settled for a compromise. (Simply a sad, overused offer, no sizes for great vision! Sunglasses that are necessary on the coast and worn by everyone) If you don't have your own frames, you won't be satisfied here So buy one frame and get the second one for free, I can only be sadly disappointed with their offers none are worth more than €30.
