Senderismo Bernia parking in Calpe marks the starting point for hiking routes into the Bernia mountain range. Located near Cases de Bèrnia, a small hamlet with a couple of restaurants, the area offers parking at the trailhead. The final 5–10 km of access road is unpaved, with some hikers recommending an SUV, though smaller cars can also reach the parking. Space is limited, so groups are advised to share vehicles. One of my favorite routes in the province of Alicante.
Its a good starting point for a great trail. Be ware though, that the trail is harder than you might think. Its not quite "climbing-gear-level" but you need great fitness and good shoes. You will get rewarded with one of the best views ever, once you pass the hole in the wall (claustrophobics should consider, if the want to go this trail!)
