Club Nàutic Benidorm has been a cornerstone of water sports in Calpe since 1963, evolving from a simple stone pier into a leading sailing and nautical centre. Specialising in youth and light sailing, the club offers courses in Optimist, 420, Laser 4.7, and Laser Radial classes, alongside kayaking, rowing, and paddle surf for all ages. Its sheltered bay, protected by Benidorm Island and surrounding hills, provides ideal conditions for training and regattas year-round, attracting around 400 students annually.
Visitors can join structured courses or summer programmes designed for children, while the club’s fleet includes Optimist dinghies, catamarans, kayaks, and traditional llaüts. With 30 regattas hosted each season—including the popular Navidades Náuticas—it’s a hub for competitive and recreational sailors alike. Very well attended and excellent food
Octopus was expensive and scarce, but there were a lot of potatoes. On the other hand, I was planning to eat seafood, but they didn't have a seafood platter. For a portion of octopus and black rice with a bottle of Rioja wine for two, it was 86 euros. Very bad.
Delicious food, fresh produce, and excellent service! Carlos served us, so charming! I highly recommend this place!
Kayak Club Náutico Benidorm, very well priced and cheaper than companies, highly recommended. They offer cave tours at the Benidorm Yacht Club. The company Capitan Kayak is very expensive, but the Yacht Club is cheaper.
