Cala Tío Ximo is a charming 60-metre cove on Benidorm’s northern coast, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Helada and surrounded by steep cliffs. This small beach combines fine sand and rock, offering a quieter escape from busier shores. Its clear waters make it ideal for snorkelling, revealing rocky seabeds beneath the surface. The cove is equipped with lifeguard supervision and a safety flag for added security.

Perfect for those seeking a peaceful swim or a relaxing day by the sea, Cala Tío Ximo retains its natural Mediterranean appeal. For the latest safety updates and visitor information, check the official VisitBenidorm website.

Cala del Tío Chimo is beautiful and peaceful, ideal if you're looking for something different from the crowded beaches of Benidorm. However, getting there isn't easy: you have to take a bus, walk, and climb some hills, so it's best not to carry too much weight. The cove is small, with a pebbly bottom, so chairs or water shoes are essential. There's a portable toilet. We spent a couple of hours there, did some snorkeling, and had a good time. I wouldn't go back, but I do recommend experiencing it at least once, because it's a unique and charming outing.

If you don't mind wearing a swimsuit, you can come here to the beach. Close to Benidorm, a nice, quiet little bay "away" from the hustle and bustle.

A very beautiful cove but difficult to access; it is advisable to wear appropriate footwear. There are usually few people and the water is clean.
