In the heart of the city, you can observe pink flamingos. The area is not well-maintained.
Nice choice for a weekend getaway. For me, it was a stop on my way to Alicante, and I am really glad I did this. Very nice place for birds watching, especially flamingos. You can either choose to walk across the main street or follow the path through the park. The second option is more remote and chill. Few people, less noise. There are also some mark up signs for the path, but it is pretty intuitive - go around the lake. Plenty of free parking spots.
Nice city with a beautiful beach
Short walk to see flamingos and stretch your legs. There isn't much shade, so be careful in summer.
