Perfect for sunrise, sunset, or a midday escape—don’t miss this must-see spot!
The Mirador Morro de Toix offers one of the finest panoramas in Calpe, perched on a natural headland dividing the bays of Calpe and Altea. This viewpoint crowns a short hiking route that begins near the Urbanización Maryvilla, ascending a modest 100 metres over just over 3 kilometres. The first steep ramp leads directly to the fenced, paved mirador, where the Mediterranean Sea stretches below, framed by the iconic Peñón de Ifach. Beyond the viewpoint, the trail continues toward communication antennas atop the Sierra de Toix, revealing sweeping views of Altea, Benidorm, and the Sierra de Bernia. Though the full route is straightforward and suitable for families, the final crested section requires caution. For current trail conditions and parking details, visit the official route website.

Great walk to the top
Magnificent view, especially at sunset! A must-see! We climbed the rock in the afternoon, then came back to enjoy the panoramic viewpoint at the end of the day. A fantastic itinerary for a truly breathtaking experience!
