A spectacular place. The boat ride is very cool. We had a drink at the bar, went for a swim, and went for a swim. Recommended.
It was terrible these seagulls wanted to kill me
Great island for a short visit and beautiful view of Benidorm beaches and shoreline. We went in July 2025; over on first boat of day (20 minutes from Benidorm port to disembarkIng on island) and returned on the next boat. That made an easy turnaround, and there really is no reason to spend more than that amount of time on the island. When the boat reaches the island, they allow you to walk down in the hull of the boat for a few minutes where there are underwater windows and you can see all the fish in the area there. We hiked to the peak viewing spot which took about twelve minutes or so. We were wearing slip on sandals and had no problem. Although others reported, you have to have good hiking shoes to walk on the trail. Other reviewers also complained about the seagulls (apparently a problem during nesting season?). We saw lots of feathers and bird droppings as evidence of a lot of seagulls on the island but there were hardly any to be seen on our visit in July. There is a small cafe witg bathrooms at the island drop off spot and we had some refreshments before getting on the return boat to shore.
