Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada is a protected coastal area in Calpe, spanning 13,750 acres of rugged cliffs and Mediterranean waters. A beautiful walk enjoying an incredible day with ideal temperatures, breathtaking scenery, well-maintained, signposted, with water points, drinking fountains, and trash cans to keep this natural area clean. I missed having a restroom at the lighthouse, but I suppose it's not feasible. In short, a highly recommended place to visit with great respect and love for nature so that it can continue to be preserved. It's suitable for children and people with reduced mobility; the path is paved. Obviously, there are stairs to reach certain viewpoints, but the path to the lighthouse is perfectly accessible for everyone. However, I urge parents not to let children throw stones down the slopes, even if they don't "see" anyone below. There is also local wildlife that must be cared for and protected.
Beautiful place, what is nature if not the first thing to protect? What will our children live on, what will our grandchildren enjoy if not nature, breathing, and living in the countryside? Cities are polluted, cities are toxic, cities make you live worse. In contrast, the countryside takes care of you, the countryside pampers you, the countryside makes you breathe, the countryside makes you drink, the countryside makes you eat well. Long live nature and long live Spanish heritage!
