It's a beautiful spectacle. I imagine the animal rights activists are writing to criticize, but it's very easy for you: don't go. The animals are respected, there's a committee of local people who oversee safety and control. Obviously, there are always risks in these kinds of events, but I insist on avoiding them. And if you don't like bullfighting, stay on the seafront promenade, which is very large and lively.
