A beautiful, large mural. Spread across two walls. It's just a shame there's a large patio in front of it with large umbrellas that obstruct the view of the mural, making it harder to photograph the entire mural. Money trumps art, unfortunately.
This beautiful and authentic mosaic mural, found on the upper part of the façade of the Tourist Office, is located in Plaza del Mosquit, in the western part of Calpe's old town. This façade is one of the most admired in the town, as it displays this mosaic, the work of artist Gastón Castelló. It is a true allegory of the trades and cultures that have inhabited Calpe. A visit to this mosaic mural is highly recommended, as is a pleasant stroll through Calpe's old town; you will be amazed, not to mention its beautiful beaches and the spectacular Peñón de Ifach.
Muy bonito y auténtico este Mosaico Mural, que encontramos en la parte superior de la fachada de la Oficina de Turismo, situada en la Plaza del Mosquit, en la zona oeste del casco antiguo de la ciudad de Calpe. Está fachada es una de las más admiradas de la localidad, pues exhibe este mosaico, que es obra del artista Gastón Castelló. Toda una alegoría de los oficios y culturas que han habitado Calpe. Muy recomendable visitar este Mosaico Mural, así como darse un buen paseo por el casco antiguo de Calpe, te sorprenderá, sin olvidarnos de visitar sus bonitas playas y el espectacular Peñón de Ifach.
Een mooie grote mural. Verspreid over 2 muren. Alleen jammer dat er een groot terras voor is geplaatst met grote parasols die het zicht op de mural beperken en je moeilijker de gehele mural op de foto kan krijgen. Geld gaat weer boven kunst helaas.
