This lovely little spot, featuring this mural, "L'art al carrer," is located on the corner of Carrer de Vicente Gallart and Calle Mayor, right in the heart of Calpe's old town. We found a couple of beautiful murals painted on the facades of the houses that make up this little spot, as well as a water fountain and some benches where you can sit and enjoy the shade and art. The many murals on the facades of houses found in Calpe's old town are striking. As the name of this mural suggests, "art in the street" (l'art al carrer), for the enjoyment of locals and tourists alike. A great idea, it also makes a visit to Calpe's old town even more impressive. A visit to this beautiful and well-kept old town of Calpe is highly recommended, as is a visit to its beautiful beaches and the spectacular and imposing Peñón de Ifach.
