Cafeseamos Gourmet & Express

On September 20th, I went to Express to ask if they made a very typical Argentinian cake, a dulce de leche millefeuille cake, which I wanted for October 1st. They told me they would check and confirm the price. On September 24th, they sent me a WhatsApp message saying they made it and that it cost €40 for 8 servings because it included dulce de leche. When I went to pick it up on October 1st, I was surprised to find the decoration wasn't for a cake; I didn't like it. When I cut it, I was surprised to find it didn't have dulce de leche. The next day, I contacted them and told them about my experience, but nothing happened. I'm still waiting for the manager to apologize at least. It's a shame, this is the first time I've had such a terrible surprise. If you're ordering a birthday cake, don't have as high expectations as we did.

A wide variety of options, both in terms of food and kitchen accessories. I liked the atmosphere and the service. It helps that it's open every day. Delicious coffee and savory food for the beach.

Unpleasant surprise... I order a takeaway latte that costs €2.75, even though the advertised price is €2.65. Surprised by the difference, a young lady explains to me in a very unfriendly tone that the 10 cents are for the takeaway cup. I'm surprised because it's not indicated anywhere that the containers are chargeable, which I find absurd anyway, given that the establishment only does takeaway. Why not display the final price directly (and if customers—a minority—bring their own cups, deduct the 10 cents?)? On a previous visit, I bought a cookie that was too dry. As a loyal customer of the cafeseamos cafeteria across the street, I can only deplore the difference in service between the two establishments. From now on, I will only go to the cafeseamos cafeteria.

Stunning presentation. Good value, extensive menu and great food. Goat toast is a winner. Seed bread layer of fig jam, crumbled goat cheese topped with lots of juicy pomegranate.
