Coffee Box is a very cozy spot just a short walk from the Calpe promenade. The service is great, and the coffee is simply the best on the Costa Blanca! The team really knows their craft — they brew and serve coffee perfectly. Highly recommended for all true coffee lovers!

Slow. Acceptable quality, but the pastries are quite expensive. If you order to go, they charge you for the container and don't give you the complimentary cookie, even if you have a child with their eyes practically begging for it—it speaks volumes about their service. You're leaving a table unoccupied, and it still ends up costing you more. I was tempted to ask for a discount so I wouldn't have to wash the glass, haha. By the way, the 50-cent plant-based milk supplement is 25% more expensive. Since I can't reply, I'm editing this message. First, I didn't say they refused the complimentary cookie; I said they didn't offer it, which is just as stingy, especially when you have a child asking for it right in front of you. Since the cookie is listed at 40 cents, I've taught my son not to take anything that isn't his. Second, I didn't say I should be served before anyone else, far from it, but that doesn't excuse the slow service, whether it's due to competition, organization, or staff shortages—I won't get into that. On the other hand, and this is a matter of business organization, you don't have a waiting area for takeaway orders, so while we're being served, we're constantly bumping into each other, dodging each other in the middle of the bar. Perhaps that's one of the reasons for the slowness. I offer this as constructive criticism, even though you might defensively resort to the cliché of "since you don't own a business, you don't know about this." I know this hasn't happened to me elsewhere and that there's always room for improvement, besides, as a customer, I've been to many restaurants, enough to have some discernment when it comes to what can be improved and what's unacceptable. Two stars sting, I know. When the experience is good, I give five. Service is very important; it justifies even the prices and the wait. By the way, milk is also a "flavoring." You're charging for a latte, without actually putting milk in it, then adding plant-based milk and adding a surcharge. Well... haha, I don't really value it any more than that. Everyone can interpret it as they see fit.

Was served by polite and friendly staff items at a reasonable low price. Unfortunately the coffee was the most disgusting I've ever had in continental Europe.
