Bon Vent, the restaurant of Altea Sailing Club, brings the Mediterranean Sea to your plate with dishes crafted from its freshest gifts. Here, the menu evolves with the seasons, featuring locally sourced fish, shellfish, and vegetables prepared in creative ways. Guests can choose from a variety of options, including starters, meats, seafood, rice and stews, and desserts, all designed to highlight the region’s flavours. Signature dishes like lobster salad with coconut mayonnaise, black rice with baby squid, and monkfish with Iberian mince showcase the restaurant’s passion for seafood. A free swimming pool and private car park add to the convenience, while the "gastro-sailing pack" offers a unique dining experience. Very good rice dishes with a spectacular terrace.
I couldn’t fault our Sunday lunch here – everything was simply perfect from start to finish. We began with a beautiful Valencian paella, rich with flavour and perfectly cooked. For the main course, we each chose the beef dish, which was nothing short of outstanding – tender, full of depth, and presented with real attention to detail. The wine list was impressive, with plenty of local options, but what really made the experience was the service. Every member of staff was attentive without being intrusive, and our waitress, Morgan, went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. She genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing – her warmth and professionalism truly made our day. All in all, it was one of those rare meals where everything comes together perfectly – the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
