If you want to learn how not to make coffee, go to La Vela de Calpe. They seem to have invented a new method: burn the beans, forget to clean the espresso machine, and proudly serve the result. The taste? A mix between ashes and tap water. Maybe it’s a secret recipe — but it really shouldn’t be.😀 I thought I’d try a mojito to save the day — big mistake. It tasted like a sad mint tea diluted with melted ice, with maybe a spoonful of sugar someone dropped by accident. The rum probably stayed at the bar, too tired to make it to the glass. With such a beautiful view, you’d expect at least a decent drink. But no — here, the scenery is the only thing worthy of five stars. The rest feels like a failed experiment. If you’re looking for good coffee or a drink that’s actually drinkable, go literally anywhere else.
Nice restaurant excellent location on the sea front
