Everything is delicious
Eating at 1948 is like reliving your mother's cooking or your grandmother's desserts—absolutely everything homemade, fresh, and delicious. The Argentinian empanadas are a delight, and their pizzas, although made to order, have to compete with the local favorites who keep their frozen pre-made pizzas for unsuspecting tourists. Even so, they remain true to their style. I can't help but associate the beauty of Calpe with the great food at this place. We hope to return soon...
I was there recently, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. Great selection and generous portions. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.
